The edge detection algorithm used when edgeDetect2D is true, can work on the image luminance, depth buffer and/or gradient. These enums can be combined in the field edgeDetect2DMethod.

LUMINANCE

Edge detection will use the image's luminance. This method has a very little impact on speed.

DEPTH

Edge detection will use the image's depth buffer.

GRADIENT

Edge detection will use the volume's gradient. These gradients are affected by the surfaceScalarExponent fied. This method is the most computationally expensive.
